Készítettem egy újabb brosst, ismét egy húszas évekbeli illusztrációt használva fel inspirációnak. Íme ő itt Olimpia, fehér kis kalapban.
Szeretek régi divatlapokat, illusztrációkat keresni a weben. Egyrészt szeretem a régi idők hangulatát, másrészt rendkívül inspiratívan hatnak rám.
Bár ahogy elnézem, a széleket takaró gyöngy nem teljesen egyenletes sorban került fel a szélre, mint ahogy szerettem volna. Lehet, hogy ez még javításra kerül. Nem az első eset, hogy valamit többször fejtenem kell míg el nem találom a megfelelő arányokat.
És miért No.1? Nagyon tetszik a minta, szeretném még más színösszeállításban is elkészíteni. Az apró öltések sosem egyformák, így minden egyes darab egyedi és saját egyéniséget kap.
I made another brooch and I used again an illustration from the Twenties as an inspiration. Meet Olimpia in her little white cloche hat.
I adore old fashion plates and illustrations and search often on the web for them. It's very inspirational.
However when I look at the edges the beads are not completely even like I intended to finish it. Maybe this I will fix again. It's not the first time that I unpick parts of the work to stitch the correct symmetry.
And why No.1? I like the pattern very much and will stitch it in another color combination. The tiny stitches are always different and every single piece will differ and have her own personality.
